IPIM Leads Macao MICE Industry Delegation to Attend CEFCO 2020 in Guangxi

Macao MICE industry delegation and officials of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI)

The 16th China Expo Forum for International Cooperation (CEFCO 2020), collaboratively organised by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), and the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO), took place in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from 9 to 11 January 2020. Mr Sam C. S. Lei, Executive Director of IPIM, led the delegation of Macao MICE industry representatives to attend the event, to jointly promote the advantages of Macao MICE industry, enhancing the exchange and co-operation on MICE industry between Macao and their counterparts from around the world.

Mr Sam C. S. Lei was invited to give a keynote speech at the plenary conference and to share his insights into “how MICE industry can drive forward urban development” with MICE industry representatives from home and abroad. During the CEFCO, representatives of Macao MICE industry participated in the plenary conference, multiple theme discussions and industry exchanges to promote the advantages of Macao MICE industry, share insights and seek business opportunities with convention managers, professional event organisers and renowned figures from MICE sector around the world.
