In order to help Macao enterprises seize the opportunities arising from the Greater Bay Area, IPIM joined hands with the Guangdong Province Administration for Market Regulation and the Legal Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR to host the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Business Environment Promotion Seminar (Zhuhai, Zhongshan) for the first time in Macao on 14 November, covering contents related to the business environment of the Greater Bay Area, commercial registration in Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Macao. The event was joined by more than 80 representatives of enterprises. The seminar aimed at helping enterprises in grasping all-round information of running businesses in the Greater Bay Area.

At the event, Mr Vincent U, Executive Director of IPIM delivered a speech. Speakers gave the audience some ideas about running businesses in the Greater Bay Area, including information about commercial registration, investment environment, preferential policy, notary procedure and more. Some of the Macao leading catering businesses and jewellery businesses were invited to share practical information on import formalities, taxation, trademark registration and other tips of running businesses in the Greater Bay Area.
