Macao MICE Sector Celebrates the Global Exhibitions Day

Guests and MICE sector celebrate the Global Exhibitions Day

5 June is the Global Exhibitions Day. Macao UFI members held the Celebration at the Macau Tower on that day. The Macao Convention and Exhibition Association, the Macao Fair and Trade Association, the Association of Advertising Agents of Macau, the Macau Federal Commercial Association of Convention and Exhibition Industry, together with nearly 300 MICE practitioners, jointly celebrated this festival.

Participants also included the Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao SAR Leong Vai Tac, Deputy Director General of Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR Zhu Hong, IPIM’s President Irene Va Kuan Lau, IPIM’s Executive Director Sam Lei, Deputy Directors of the Macao Economic Bureau Chan Tze Wai and Lau Wai Meng, Chief of Representative Office in Macao of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Tang Xudong.

Aside from the certificate award ceremony of 2018 EMD and CEM courses, the launch ceremony of 2019 EMD course, the flag of Macao SAR was also presented to Macao representatives who will participate in the 2019 AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge in Manila on 10 October.
