2019‭ ‬Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Economic Technology and Trade Cooperation Convention

Collaboratively organised by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, the 2019 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Economic Technology and Trade Cooperation Convention was held in Hong Kong on 7 May.

The Deputy Secretary-General of Guangdong Province Lin Ji, the Financial Secretary of Hong Kong SAR CHAN Mo-po, Paul, the Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macao SAR Leong Vai Tac delivered keynote speeches at the Opening Ceremony. More than 500 political and commercial representatives from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao participated in the event and actively shared their advices and insights into the improvement of the economic co-operation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The event was coordinated by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau of Hong Kong and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute. Roundtable conference for Guangdong government and chambers of commerce from Hong Kong and Macao, briefing session on Guangdong’s support to enterprises, and seminar on innovation-driven industries’ co-operation in Greater Bay Area were also staged during the event.

Acting President of IPIM Irene Va Kuan Lau led the Macao enterpriser delegation to join the event.
