IPIM and Macao MICE Sector Join the 15th China Expo Forum for International Co-operation in Qionghai

Organised by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), the Society of Independent Show Organisers (SISO), the 15th China Expo Forum for International Co-operation was held at the Bo’ao Asia Forum Hotel in Qionhai, Hainan from 10 to 12 January. IPIM organised representatives of local MICE sector to join the event and collaboratively promoted the advantages of Macao’s MICE industry and reinforced the exchange and co-operation with the counterparts in the country and overseas regions.

IPIM’s Acting President Irene Va Kuan Lau was invited to be the speaker of the plenary meeting, which allowed the MICE representatives at home and abroad to discuss the new opportunities arising from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

During the Forum, Macao MICE representatives participated in the plenary meeting, a number of themed forums and networking activities, to publicise Macao’s MICE attractions and build connection with event managers and professional congress organisers from all parts of the world, as well as leaders of the international convention and exhibition industry. The event and the attendees thereof made it possible to jointly push forward the development of regional and international convention and exhibition industry.
