Macao entrepreneur delegation at the Macao Pavilion
Organised by IPIM and the Guangzhou Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Macao-Guangzhou Products Fair was held in Guangzhou from 11 to 13 January. The three-day event was well-received and joined by more than 150,000 attendees.
The total exhibition area of the event was 11,300 square metres, comprising of 205 booths, which included 110 for Guangzhou exhibitors and 95 for Macao exhibitors. Nearly 200 outstanding enterprises from Guangzhou and Macao gathered together to show their bests at the event. Close to a hundred Macao companies brought their specials products which are made in Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries to the event. Furthermore, a local event Let’s Hang Out – Lusophone and Macao Products Bazaar, which congregate food and beverage products from Portuguese-speaking Countries, joined the Macao-Guangzhou Products Fair for the first time to introduce attendees to the authentic Portuguese tastes.
In order to reinforce the economic exchange between Guangzhou and Macao, aside from organising around 62 Macao entrepreneurs to join the event, IPIM also led the delegation to visit local sci-tech enterprises and held the 2019 Macao-Guangzhou Forum on Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Area Economic Co-operation, with the aim to broaden the horizon and create platform for Macao enterprises which are interested in expanding business in the Greater Bay Area.
