The Opening Ceremony of the well-received Let’s Hang Out – Lusophone and Macao Products Bazaar

Collaboratively organised by IPIM, the Macao Association for Promoting Community Economic Development and the Industry and Commerce Federation of Islands of Macao, co-organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) and the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Federation of Entrepreneurs, “Let’s Hang Out – Lusophone and Macao Products Bazaar” took place from 26 to 28 October in Largo Camões (Pak Tai Temple), Taipa. The event was joined by 27 local enterprises engaging in trade of Portuguese-speaking Countries’ products, cultural and creative products and Macao brands. The three-day event attracted over 30,000 participations.

After its inception held at the Hong Kung Temple in March 2018, the 2nd edition of the “Let’s Hang Out – Lusophone and Macao Products Bazaar” encompassed a raft of frozen food, canned food, bakery products, snacks, jam, juice, dairy products, wine, furniture design, souvenirs from Portuguese-speaking Countries. Macao original handicrafts which carry the characteristics of Portuguese-speaking Countries also arrived in the bazaar, bringing out a cultural flavor the city’s creativity.

In addition, the bazaar collaborated with the neighbouring shops to offer consumer incentives to stimulate citizens and travellers to explore the community, which had effectively boosted the community economy together with electronic payment methods.
