Secretary for Economy and Finance Leong Vai Tak Leads a Delegation to IPIM’s Representative Office in Guangzhou

Secretary for Economy and Finance Leong Vai Tak and Macao delegation, youngsters studying, having internship or starting business in Guangzhou visit IPIM’s Representative Office in Guangzhou

Led by the Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macao SAR Leong Vai Tak, nearly 30 delegates from Macao and over 30 Macao youngsters who were studying, having internship or starting businesses in Guangzhou visited IPIM’s Representative Office in Guangzhou on 6 September to know more about IPIM’s services. According to Secretary Leong, the Representative Office in Guangzhou had expanded its service scope to cope with the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, particularly in economic and financial domain, which would be beneficial for Macao to grasp the opportunities arising in the Greater Bay Area and support the growth of the country.

The service extension included: extending the reach of “Service at Doorstep” to the nine cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, publicising the investment environment in Macao, keeping the industry updated on Greater Bay Area’s latest development. Collaborating with the Economic Bureau, the Labour Affairs Bureau and the Monetary Authority of Macao, the Representative Office provides investors introduction to the licensing procedure of financial product in Macao, as well as advisory services to investors who are interested in applying for industrial license and setting up factory in Macao.
