Macao Business Advantage – Promotion Seminar on China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Opportunities and Featured Finance

Joined by more than 220 attendees, the “Macao Business Advantage – Promotion Seminar on China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Opportunities and Featured Finance” was held in Guangzhou and Jiangmen from 30 to 31 August. The event was organised by the IPIM, the Monetary Authority of Macao, the Economic Bureau and the Financial Services Bureau of the Macao SAR, co-organised by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, the Jiangmen Bureau of Commerce and the Jiangmen Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau, supported by the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Federation of Entrepreneurs, the China-Portuguese Speaking Countries Cooperation and Development Fund and the Macau Association of Banks. In addition, the event was held in Zhuhai and Zhongshan from 10 to 11 September.

The event served to bring into action the State’s support to Macao in building the city into the Commercial and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (PSCs). It also took advantages of this occasion to publicise the tempting opportunities arising from Macao’s business environment, China-PSC platform and featured finance.
