Opening Ceremony of “2018 GS1 Asia Pacific Regional Forum”
The GS1 Asia Pacific Regional Forum 2018 was held in Macao from 18 to 21 September. The event was organised by GS1 Macau, and supported by the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM) and the IPIM. The forum included a three-day conference and a one-day visit, attracting participants from 20 countries and regions.
The opening ceremony of the forum was held on 19 September at the Grand Hyatt Macau. Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macao SAR Leong Vai Tac, President and Chief Executive Officer of GS1 Miguel Lopera, IPIM’s Executive Director Agostinho Vong Vai Lon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center Eric Yeung, and Deputy Director of the Economic Bureau of Macao Lau Wai Meng attended the event. Other participants included local guests, officials of GS1 in the Asia-Pacific region, experts and technicians, and they mainly discussed the development of the GS1 and co-operation among members in the region.
