IPIM Joins the 5th China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services

IPIM organised a delegation composing of over 50 members including Macao enterprisers and representatives of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) to participate in the 5^th China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing from 27 to 29 May.

During the visit, the Macao enterpriser delegation attended the CIFTIS and visited the Macao Pavilion inside the CIFTIS venue. In addition, the Macao delegation participated in the Launch Ceremony of Beijing-Macao Co-operation Partnership 2018 and the China-PSC Commercial Service Platform Promotion Seminar jointly organised by IPIM and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council, wherein IPIM President Jackson Chang delivered a speech.

During the event, the representatives of China-Africa Development Fund, the Macao Branch of Bank of China, and the Sino-Portuguese E-Commerce Chamber respectively introduced over a hundred of attending enterprise representatives to the development of the China-Portuguese Speaking Countries Cooperation and Development Fund, Renminbi Clearing Centre in Portuguese-speaking countries and the China-PSC cross-border e-commerce. IPIM representatives gave an introduction of the latest developments of Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries, the “One Platform, Three Centres” and the financial services platform between China and Portguese-speaking Countries.
