The China Convention/Exhibition/Event Society, the First Conference & Exhibition magazine, China Conference and Exhibition Alliance, as well as convention and exhibition associations from various provinces jointly organised the China Convention and Exhibition Industry Annual Meeting and Annual Award Presentation Ceremony 2017 in Shanghai. The event, held from 16 to 18 December, further acknowledged Macao’s positioning and MICE development.
Under the14th China Convention and Exhibition Industry Annual Awards, two awards-“China’s Top 10 Most Influential Exhibition 2017” and “China Convention and Exhibition Industry Person of the Year 2017”- were set up. The Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) was listed among “China’s Top 10 Most Influential Exhibition 2017”. The award was received by IPIM’s Executive Director and MIF Chief Co-ordinator Irene Va Kuan Lau on behalf of IPIM. Furthermore, “China Convention and Exhibition Industry Person of the Year 2017” was awarded to IPIM’s President Jackson Chang.
