IPIM’s President Jackson Chang gives a speech at the promotional seminar
Hosted by IPIM and the Chongqing Commerce Commission, the Promotional Seminar on Business Opportunities Brought by the Commercial and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries cum Networking Reception took place in Chongqing on 23 January.
IPIM’s President Jackson Chang gave a speech at the promotional seminar. Many Macao entrepreneurs took the chance to have active sharing and networking with Chongqing enterprises. Two Macao entrepreneurs delivered keynote speeches on commerce and professional service and also introduced Macao’s positioning and advantages of being the “Commercial and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries”, as well as the latest development of related industries.
The promotional seminar was attended by around 100 entrepreneurs. In addition, in order to further assist enterprises in handling commercial and trade issues, the Casa de Macau Chongqing, founded in 2014, officially announced that two Macao law firms were appointed as its legal consultants. The co-operation agreements were signed during the event.
On the same day, the Macao entrepreneur delegation attended the Chongqing German City – Launching of Business Invitation & Smart Manufacturing Forum, which was organised by the Chongqing Commerce Commission, Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing and the Chongqing Jiangbei People’s Government. The Chongqing German City – Business Invitation Launching Ceremony were held concurrently. It was a major Chongqing-Macao collaboration project invested by Macao enterprise. Moreover, the Macao delegation visited leading enterprises in Chongqing and met a lot of their counterparts and potential business partners, laying a solid foundation for further exploring and developing the Mainland market.
