[2024-03-18] Unicamp delegation visits Peking University during trip to China

A representative delegation from Unicamp, led by Rector Prof. Antonio José de Almeida Meirelles visited Peking University (PKU) on March 12th.

In addition to maintaining a long-term partnership with Unicamp, involving student exchanges and shared research projects, the mission in China aims to strengthen ties with Chinese universities and institutions, especially in mutual interest for both institutions.

During the visit, the delegation also had the opportunity to visit the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHEP), the largest fundamental research center in high energy physics in China, as well as the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), a leading philosophical and social research organization.

The trip agenda also includes visits to other renowned institutions, such as Beijing Normal University, China Conservatory of Music, Renmin University of China, New Development Bank, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Shanghai University, Fudan University and the Fudan Development Institute (FDDI).
