[2024-03-13] Risen Energy and ABGD launch a video series on interpreting the International Electrotechnical Commission standard

The growing participation of solar energy in the electrical matrix highlights the importance of the quality and reliability of the equipment used in photovoltaic plants. Together, the Chinese company Risen Energy and the Brazilian Distributed Generation Association (ABGD) announce the launch of a series of videos on the interpretation of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard.

The objective is to inform and raise awareness among solar energy prosumers and investors about the importance of complying with quality standards when selecting equipment for their plants. This initiative aims not only to promote the adoption of good practices when choosing photovoltaic components but also to contribute to the construction of a more solid and reliable sector.

The videos provide a detailed and intuitive introduction to the IEC standard requirements for PV module performance testing and demonstrate test methods specific to the company’s products.
