On the 3rd of March, the Chinese airline Ruili Airlines and Embraer signed a Letter of intent for cooperation. Ruili Airlines, which opened in Wuxi in 2021, is the first local airline in Jiangsu.

The letter of intent for cooperation signed represents the continuation of a partnership initiated at the end of last year and will enable cooperation in the supply chain, sustainable development and evaluation of aviation projects, design of sustainable aircraft of the latest generation, among other aspects. It is expected that, through collaboration, an aviation industry cluster with international competitiveness will be built and better integrated into the new development pattern of mutual promotion of the domestic and international double cycle.

In recent years, economic and trade cooperation between Wuxi and Brazil has been deepening. The city registered 8 investment projects in Brazil. Furthermore, imports and exports from the city to Brazil totaled US$ 1.41 billion last year.
