Mozambican companies should focus on certifying the quality of their products and services and ensuring the regularity and reliability of their supply, because only then can they compete in the international market, the President of Mozambique said on Monday.

Among the awarded companies were Vale Moçambique, in the category of major projects, Mozambique Leaf Tobacco, as the largest exporter of agricultural products, Pescamar, in the fishing sector, Kenmare Moma Processing Lda, in the mining area and Merec Industries Lda, industry.

The 55th edition of the Maputo International Fair runs from Monday to Sunday, 1 September, with the participation of 22 countries represented by 650 companies, of which 450 are national and 200 foreign, and close to 2,000 exhibitors.
