The 12th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF)

The 12th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) held from 18 – 21 October 2007 at the Cotai Strip™ Convention and Exhibition Centre in the Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel, proved to be a resounding success. The 12th MIF continued its function as a trade and business service platform to serve local business communities, especially the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by providing opportunities for them to make international connections while enhancing their competitiveness. This year, MIF was the first event to be held at the Venetian® Convention and Exhibition Centre and was the largest ever in terms of exhibition area, booths, number of participating delegations and local business organisations. An electronic registration system and online visitor pre-registration was also introduced in order to simplify applications for visitors and improve the Fair’s professionalism. It was also the first time that MIF was co-ordinated by 3 local convention and exhibition organisations, which was conducive to the mutual participation and development of local business communities. The 13th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) is to be held from 23-26 October 2008 on the Cotai Strip™ Convention and Exhibition Centre in the Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel.
