The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) continues to enhance further the services for convention and exhibition businesses, in order to help local companies – especially small and medium-sized enterprises – explore business opportunities and expand their respective markets. IPIM has set up a specialised platform to improve exchanges and co-operation between enterprises from Mainland China, Macao and overseas regions, integrating online and offline elements. Online exhibition halls, cloud matching, cloud protocol signing, live streaming, online promotional sessions, and the launch of a mobile application Scan2Match, were included in the events organised by IPIM in 2020, in order to promote the digitisation development of the city’s meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) industry and improve the business-matching experience for participants.
