IPIM launches the “invest here” Website to Provide Investment Information on a Number of Cities

In order to usher in new impetus in the local investment environment, give full play to the unique advantage of Macao as the platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, and attract domestic and overseas enterprises to establish headquarters in Macao, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) has launched web and mobile versions of “invest here” (investhere.ipim.gov.mo) to provide information about investing in Macao, the nine cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and major cities of Portuguese-speaking Countries, in a bid to help investors to gain practical and concise investment information from the huge amount of information available on the Internet, thereby facilitating interested parties in making investment decisions.

Diverse information available in three languages‭, ‬four idioms‭ ‬

The website covers diverse investment information about the cities, such as the business environment, commercial procedures, tax policies, incentive measures, industrial development, and laws and regulations, and the information is given in Chinese, Portuguese and English with a read-aloud function available in Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese and English, enabling investors to gain investment knowledge anytime anywhere.

Multiple functions provided to support investors

The website is designed with multiple functions, including calculation simulators to help investors estimate taxes and company incorporation expenses. Moreover, an intelligent customer service agent is available on the website to answer investors’ enquiries, while designated staff can also be reached for any enquiries via the customer service hotline during the office hours of IPIM. Various application forms for company registration, permits and licenses, and different services, can be downloaded from the website, and some of the applications can be submitted online.

Useful information published through various means

While reading the information on the website, investors can also watch relevant videos about investment environment introduction, success cases and MICE events at the video gallery. In addition, investors can quickly and precisely find what they need through the website’s advanced search function.
