On 9 July, IPIM staff led by President Benson Lau Wai Meng, visited the photo exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The year 2021 marks the centennial of the founding of the CPC. The exhibition is organised by the State Council Information Office, the Macao SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, and coordinated by Macao Foundation and Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited.
Through 298 historic photos showcased in the exhibition, IPIM staff gained a comprehensive understanding of the development history of the CPC and learned that the current stable growth of China is a result of painstaking efforts; without the leadership of CPC, there would not be the prosperity and stability enjoyed in Macao under the “One Country, Two Systems” policy, and supporting and safeguarding their leadership is the basis for the successful implementation of the “One Country, Two systems” policy in the Macao SAR.
