“Macao Franchise Expo 2020” (2020MFE) will be held at The Venetian Macao from 22 to 24 October. In order to further interest the general public in franchise business and to enable more companies to learn how to improve their brand’s competitiveness through online training, IPIM will work with the Macau Chain Stores and Franchise Association, the Macao International Brand Enterprise Commercial Association and the Macao Youth Entrepreneur Incubation Centre to launch four online training seminars from July to September.
The first seminar was held on 28 July. Ms Shirley Wu, Chairperson of the Macau Chain Stores & Franchise Association, Mr Chi Kit Au Yeung, Founder of Japanese restaurant Samurai Fish, Mr Bruce Cheok, General Manager of Cui Cui Restaurant Management Co. Ltd and Mr Helu Chan, Founder of Friend to Friends E-commerce co Ltd was invited to the seminar to share how they started up their businesses. More than 150 audience joined the seminar and spirited discussion.
From August to September, IPIM will invite person in-charge of local franchise businesses, local time-honoured shops and renowned brands to the seminars and share their tips and experience in operating businesses. Branding advisor will be joining the seminars to share how to upgrade brand.
