“Let’s Hang Out – Lusophone and Macao Products Bazaar” Concludes with Success

Opening ceremony of the “Let’s Hang Out – Lusophone and Macao Products Bazaar”

Jointly organised by IPIM, the Macao Association for Promoting Community Economic Development and the Industry and Commerce Federation of Macau Central and Southern District, co-organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Federation of Entrepreneurs, the “Let’s Hang Out – Lusphone and Macao Products Bazaar” was held at the Tap Seac Square from 29 to 31 March. The event attracted over 45,000 citizens, merchants and travellers.

The officiating guests at the opening ceremony were IPIM’s Acting President Irene Va Kuan Lau, the Deputy Director of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR Zhu Hong, Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) Xu Yingzhen, Chief of the Promotion Division of the Trade office of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR Yao Yao, the President of the Macao Association for Promoting Community Economic Development Cheung Kin Chung, President of the Industry and Commerce Federation of Macau Central and Southern District Lei Cheok Kuan and the President of the Industrial Association of Macau Chui Yuk Lum.

The event gathered 24 agencies of Portuguese-speaking Countries’ products and Macao enterprises at the Tap Seac Squre, bringing various enjoyments including tasty food, shopping and entertainment to citizens. The event also featured singing and dancing performances, PSC food cooking shows, Chinese-Portuguese slangs wall, DIY workshops, showcasing different cultures of Portuguese-speaking Countries while creating a spirited atmosphere.
