Chinese car manufacturer BYD reached the milestone of a thousand new vehicles sold in Portugal, even though it has not yet completed a year of presence in the national market, having 14 points of sale in the country.

In a statement, BYD Portugal describes this goal as an important achievement that demonstrates the confidence of companies and consumers, giving as an example the delivery of a fleet of 53 BYD ATTO3 to the National Health Service (SNS) at the end of last year.

The brand’s good performance in Portugal has also been relevant at European level, with the national importer reaching the ‘top 3’ in terms of market share (among all BYD importers in Europe). For this reason, it was distinguished by the brand itself “for this notable achievement as a contribution to BYD’s performance in Europe”, reads the statement.
