[2024-04-16] Fidelidade and Fosun open China to three Portuguese startups

The insurance company Fidelidade and the Fosun group announced on April 11th that companies have already been selected for the 6th edition of the Protechting Program, an initiative that supports and rewards innovative companies. The eight highlighted were Agit, Balvia, eBreathie, Glooma, GripWise, Infinite Foundry, Sensomatt and i-Virtual.

All are in the development process for a possible pilot phase, but Agit, Glooma and GripWise have already been selected to carry out a roadshow in China. The criteria for choosing these three startups was based on the greater probability of being able to make commercial agreements, finding good sourcing sources and also the greater possibility of attracting investment.

The founders of these three companies will leave in May on a roadshow that will pass through strategic locations such as Shanghai, Foshan and Macau, giving the three startups the opportunity to meet the Fosun Group, participate in the technology event ‘Beyond Expo 2024’, in Macau, and to meet with potential investors and partners.
