[2021/08/23] Macao SME Pavilion of the 26th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair is now open for application
The 26th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (26th MIF), organised by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, will be held at The Venetian Macao from 21 to 23 October. This year’s MIF will once again set up the “Macao SME Pavilion” and provide eligible local companies with an anti-epidemic discount: a participation fee of MOP680, assisting SMEs in their upgrading and transformation and boosting the economy in the post-pandemic era. Interested companies are welcome to apply from today (23 August) to 31 August.
Combination of online and offline exhibitions to help SMEs innovate their business models
MIF, one of Macao’s annual economic and trade events, is committed to helping participants seek business opportunities for development, transformation, and entrepreneurship through online and offline exhibitions, forums/conferences, and business matching sessions. The Macao SME Pavilion targets SMEs in Macao, among which companies engaged in products “Made in Macao” and “Macao brands”, as well as “agents of Portuguese-speaking countries’ products”, are given priority. The Macao SME Pavilion showcases souvenirs, food and alcoholic beverages, comprehensive health, electronic, cultural and creative, household products, handicrafts/accessories, and other commodities.
The anti-epidemic discount for SMEs continues
To facilitate the economic recovery in the post-pandemic era and help local companies explore business opportunities, the 26th MIF retains the anti-epidemic discount for SMEs in Macao, with a discounted participation fee of MOP680. The application form can be downloaded from the official website at www.mif.com.mo. From 23 to 31 August, interested companies are welcome to fill in the application form and submit it with other required documents online at macaomice.ipim.gov.mo, by fax (+853 2882 8722), or in person at the premises of the event co-ordinator (Macau Expo Group Limited; Address: 223–225 Avenida do Dr Rodrigo Rodrigues, 8/D, Nam Kwong Building, Macao).
