Scheme for Supporting the Development of Macao First-Store Economy
To enhance the appeal of Macao’s business environment and introduce brands from outside Macao to open their first stores in the city, with a view to enriching the local consumer culture, the “Scheme for Supporting the Development of Macao First-Store Economy” is rolled out, with the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) of the Macao Special Administrative Region as the execution entity and the Macao Industrial and Commercial Development Fund (FDIC) as the partner entity. The Scheme targets at expenses of initiating the operation of the first store in Macao set up by eligible brands from Portuguese-speaking and Spanish-speaking countries, the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Region.
