[2021/07/25] 2021MIECF Green Business Co-operation Day Concentrating Efforts on Green Technological Innovation, Mainstreaming Green Manufacturing and Lifestyles

The 2021 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (2021MIECF) will be held from 5 to 7 August. On the first day of the 2021MIECF, a series of activities will be staged on the the Green Business Co-operation Day, during which international organisations, leading experts and scholars from Mainland China, and senior officers of famous listed companies will be invited to share and exchange their ideas on “Accelerating Commercialisation of Technological Innovation, Mainstreaming Green Manufacturing and Lifestyles”.

The Green Business Co-operation Day will open at the Green Conference Zone 01 at Expo Hall A of The Venetian Macao at 14:30 on 5 August. The activities include Session 1 of the Green Forum and the Business Exchange. The Green Forum features the key discussion session and the business opportunity discussion session. The guests of key discussion session will include Director of the United Nations University Institute in Macau Huang Jingbo, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of China Everbright Environment Group Limited Luan Zusheng, Vice-Chairman of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation Li Bin, and Vice Director of Research Department on International Market cum Research Fellow of Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation Xu Yingming, who will analyse from a macro perspective the global and national targets, as well as policies pertaining to the reduction of pollution and carbon emissions, and explain how related industries can achieve their goals of carbon emission reduction through technological innovation.

The business opportunity discussion session will be attended by Founding President of the Macao Association of Environmental Protection Industry António Trindade, who is also the CEO of Macau’s CESL Asia Investments and Services Limited, Chief Operating Officer of MECOM Power and Construction Limited and MUCHARGING (Macau) Limited Benson Lam, and Sales Director for South China of VONTRON MEMBRANE Technology Co., Ltd. Scott Yu. They will discuss how innovative technologies can be applied to daily life to create a net zero carbon economy, help all sectors of society practice green development and make it an integral part of people’s lives, culture and experiences.

Simultaneous interpretation in Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese and English, as well as conference live streaming, are available during the 2021MIECF.
