[2021/12/02] International Trade and Investment Forum 2021 Jointly Organised by Shanghai and Macao Assembles Prominent Figures in the Industry and Focuses on High-tech Industries
The “26th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair” (26th MIF), the “Macao Franchise Expo 2021” (2021MFE) and the “2021 Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao)” (2021PLPEX) will be held concurrently at the same venue from 10 to 12 December. With Shanghai as the “partner city”, the “International Trade and Investment Forum 2021”, jointly organised by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai, will be held on the first day of the exhibitions (10 December) from 3 pm to 5 pm in the Naples Meeting Room of The Venetian Macao.
Forum themed “modern service industry empowers the transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements” to spark new thinking
To promote the integration and development of the modern service industry and high-tech industries, this year’s forum will be divided into two parts: keynote speech and panel discussion under the theme “Modern Service Industry Empowers the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievements”. The event has invited Chairman of Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. Zhou Jie, Founder and Managing Partner of JCP Capital David Cong, and Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (AMSV) Mak Pui In, to deliver the keynote speeches and share their insights.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Co-CEO and Managing Director (Macao) of Akrostar Technology Co., Ltd. U Seng Pan, and attended by Founder and Chairman of Fnetlink Group Wong Su Chin, Founder and CEO of Pachira Times Zhuhai Hengqin Information Technology Co., Ltd. Ho Kuok Tou, Founder and CEO of Shenzhen Extreme Vision Technology Co., Ltd. Chan Chan Kit, Vice President of Digital Expo Co., Ltd. Kevin Lee, and Vice-General Manager of Shanghai Exhibition Centre (Group) Co., Ltd. Zhang Yuan. During the panel discussion, the moderator and the guests will discuss cutting-edge issues such as how to further drive investment in scientific and technological innovation through matching financial capital, MICE services and scientific and technological innovation projects, with the aim of better facilitating the development of the high-tech industries and hence fostering high-quality economic development.
