[2020/09/01] “2020 Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair” Is Now Open for Application All Local Companies Are Welcome

The “2020 Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair” (2020GMBPF), jointly organised by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, will be held at The Venetian Macao from 11 to 13 December. To strengthen co-operation between Guangdong and Macao and revitalise economy, the fair will subsidise eligible local companies by offering a preferential price. Companies interested in joining the event are welcome to register from 2 to 23 September.

Since its establishment in 2009, the GMBPF has been committed to improving itself and enriching its content. This year, it will continue to hold on to the concept of innovation and introduce more branded products from Guangdong and Macao, including food and beverage, daily commodities, gadgets, cultural and creative products, and products made by time-honoured. It will also continue including elements Belt and Road and featured goods, turning the fair into a must-go event for people to purchase branded products from Guangdong and Macao and a significant platform for companies to promote their brands.

COVID-19 brought impact on local companies to different extents. To create more business opportunities, IPIM has launched an anti-epidemic discount for SMEs and reduced the participation fee to MOP680, in the hope of encouraging SMEs to expand business opportunities through this fair and better boost the post-pandemic economy.

The event is targeting at companies engaged in “Made in Macao” products, Macao brands and Macao designs, and agents of overseas brands (especially products from Portuguese-speaking countries).
