| | | 2022 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (2022MIECF) Date: 9 to 11 December 2022 Location: Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macao The Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (MIECF) is hosted by the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. First launched in 2008 and accredited by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) in 2011, MIECF brings together a series of professional international forums, exhibitions, business matching and networking activities, in which both local and overseas participants take part. By organising high-level delegations to take part in the event, it promotes international co-operation among governments, industries, universities, research institutes, users and investors in the environmental protection area. MIECF aims to grow into an international exchange and co-operation platform that promotes technology transfer and sustainable development for the environmental protection sector in the “Belt and Road” countries and regions, the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region (PPRD), the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Portuguese-speaking countries, European countries and the rest of the world. Under the theme of “Commitment to Green Development, Moving Towards the Dual Carbon Goals”, 2022MIECF will follow the circular economy principles of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” and jointly promote a new pattern of green development through case sharing, policy analysis, technology demonstrations, and business opportunities exchanges to achieve dual carbon goals. | |

| | | IPIM’s public services are relocated to the “Complex of the Macao Forum” Three departments under IPIM, namely the Promotional Activities and Development of Conventions and Exhibitions Department, the Investor Service Department and the Lusophone Markets Economic and Trade Promotion Department were relocated to the 1/F and 2/F of the office building of the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries in Rua Sul de Entre Lagos. |

| | | Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform and “Macao Ideas” Open to Public The Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform and “Macao Ideas” opened to the general public. Together with the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, they will further expand Macao’s function as a platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (PSCs), and enhance the development of trade, conventions and exhibition, and cultural sectors from China and PSCs. The Pavilion is located on basement level 1 of the China-PSCs Complex, covering 1,800 square metres and featuring seven exhibition areas with a diversified design. |

| | | Kam In Portuguese Food Factory intended to expand their market in Mainland China Investor Ho Choi Tai’s Portuguese pastry has more than 100 history in Macao. Ms Ho is the third generation of this family business. In 2011, she founded the first store of Kam In Portuguese Alua and Food on Rua Central, followed by the second store on Rua do Cunha. Portuguese pastry is one of the necessity for Macanese festivals. In 2021, the Macanese culinary art was inscribed as on the national list of intangible cultural heritage. The investor insists in retaining the unique taste of all their Portuguese pastry, including alua and ladú, with a traditional production procedure. Since the company intended to expand their market in Mainland China, it has set up a food factory in Room A, 3/F of Edf. Industrial Veng Hou, Rua dos Pescadores 166-190, Macao. Covering over 1,000 square metres, the factory mainly produce Portuguese and Chinese pastry and food. With the Investor’s “One-stop” Service provided by IPIM, Kam In Portuguese Food Factory obtained the industrial licence on 29 December 2021. |

| | | Introduction of Integrated Circuit and Electronic Components Industry and the Brief Analysis on its Development in Mainland China Integrated Circuit (hereinafter referred to as “IC”) is to collectively process the electronic components such as transistors, resistors, capacitors, and conclusively embedded them on the surface of the wafer. The entire manufacturing process can be simply divided in the three partitions, namely “Design”, “Manufacturing”, “Package and Testing”. With the policy support of the Central Government and ascent of demand for applications, the IC industry in Mainland China has experiencing a rapid increase in the past few years. The relevant sales has expended from RMB215.9 billion in 2012 to RMB1,045.8 billion in 2021, with an average annual growth rate of 18.4% over the past 10 years. At the same time, a large number of core enterprises has emerged in the fields of design, manufacturing, package and testing. |

| | | Excelente Coffee Rich in aroma & widely beloved by the “Lotus City” Macao Excelente Coffee & Food Products Company was founded in 2007. It is a local coffee producer and trader in Macao and roasts imported raw beans in their own Macao factory. Excelente Coffee sells various types of coffee beans, coffee powder and capsule coffee under their own brand “LOTUS Cafés”, which are available in various supermarkets and department stores in Macao. Excelente Coffee has taken active participation in Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) and “Guangdong Macao Branded Products Fair (GMBPF)” organised by IPIM, as well as participating in “China International Import Expo” with IPIM in Shanghai. The business matching opportunities provided in these MICE events have resulted in a number of successful business partnerships for Excelente Coffee. |

| | | Macau Creations: Excellent Creations from Macao Macau Creations Limited was founded by Wilson Lam in 2009, Mr Lam returned to Macao from overseas. In addition to its own original products, Macau Creations also has gathered the creative work of many outstanding designers and artists from Macao and established the first large-scale shop for cultural and creative products and souvenirs in Macao. Today, the company's business covers product development, art curation, MICE event management, marketing, cross-border collaboration and IP licensing. Macau Creations has been promoting its brand through various MICE events organised by IPIM. In addition, the company has in 2019 reached an agreement with an enterprise of a sports theme park in Chengdu, Sichuan to provide support for the branding project “Cultural and Creative Industries + Sports”. Mr Lam reveals that the COVID-19 pandemic has made it more challenging to expand the market. However, he has confidence in the pandemic prevention and control measures in the Mainland and looks forward to a smooth start of the project. In the future, he hopes Macao SAR Government will strengthen its support for SMEs in Macao, so that more “Macao Brands” and “Macao Designs” can go global. |
