2021 Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair (2021GMBPF)

The “2021 Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair” (2021GMBPF), jointly organised by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, on the basis of what the event has achieved, it will continue the optimisation and innovation this year, enhancing business matching services, its professional level and contents. As always, this year’s GMBPF will introduce more branded products from Guangdong and Macao, including food and beverage, smart life products, daily commodities, gadgets, cultural and creative products, and products of time-honoured brands. It will also continue including elements of the Belt and Road and featured goods, turning itself into a must-go event for people to purchase branded products from Guangdong and Macao and a significant platform for companies to promote their brands.

2021 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (2021MIECF)

MIECF is honoured to have the support of the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China as the Special Supporting Organisations.
2021MIECF adopts the theme “Towards a Green and Low Carbon New Era”. In an effort to work in line with the country’s 14th Five-year Plan and the latest development trends of the sector, the “Green Transportation Exhibition Zone” will have its debut in this year’s MIECF. The event will also be enriched with more online services and activities in a bid to help participants explore opportunities.
Professional green forums, green exhibitions, the Green Co-operation Day, business matching services and networking activities, the Green Public Day will be available at MIECF. The “Greenovation Zone” will once again available in green exhibition, where the “Green Transportation Exhibition Zone” will be launched to showcase some of the vehicles using environmentally friendly energy, the supporting equipment and technologies thereof. The debut of this zone is in line with the country’s 14th Five-year Plan and its goals to reach the plateau of carbon emissions and carbon neutrualisation. This newly launched zone will also demonstrate some of the green technologies and provide exchange activities, promoting the application of innovative and environmentally friendly technologies, and provoking discussion upon this area. During the three-day event, the “Online Business Matching Service Platform” (http://bm.ipim.gov.mo) and networking activities for the specialists will be available to enhance the connection and communication among the participating entities. Brighten up Your Free Time at a local Portuguese Coffee Shop
Many city-dwellers crave a cup of rich, aromatic coffee in the morning. Walking into the CuppaCoffee store nearby Praia Grande, Macao, you will be greeted with the mouth-watering scent of freshly baked bread and hot brewed coffee that permeates the shop. One of the founders of the brand, Cristiana Figueiredo, explained that ‘in Europe, people tend to visit coffee shops for relaxation or for work; and that, 20 years ago, when we arrived to Macau, the coffee shop lifestyle of Europe was not very common in Macao. From there came the idea of opening a coffee shop in Macao with the hope of promoting Portuguese delicacies and coffee culture’.

Facilitation Services for Commercial Registration in Nine Cities of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area
In order to encourage Macao enterprises to invest in cities in the Greater Bay Area by optimising the commercial registration procedures of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area for Macao enterprises, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) inked an co-operation agreement with the Guangdong Market Supervision & Administration Bureau to roll out the Facilitation Services for Commercial Registration in Nine Cities of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which assist Macao enterprises and citizens in completing commercial registration for investing or starting up business in the nine Mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area, namely Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Zhaoqing.

Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute’s (IPIM) brand new Online Business Matching Service Platform is now available for local and overseas entrepreneurs to enjoy self-service business matching and expand their markets.
Through this open-source platform, registered users will be able to participate in the business matching sessions in the exhibitions and events organised by IPIM. Furthermore, users will be able to advertise or search for collaboration projects, screen for preferable projects, and pre-arrange meetings with interested parties and generate a preliminary meetings schedule.
