One of the first outstanding talents in high and new technology industry in Macao
Holder of Master’s Degree in Management from Macau University of Science and Technology and currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at City University of Macau, is one of the foremost outstanding talents in high and new technology industry in Macao SAR. Notably, he was given the Individual Gold Medal Award at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (the highest individual honour in Huawei). He joined Huawei in 2014 and has 12 years of experience in government and enterprise business and regional operation and management. He has served as Guangzhou regional general manager of Huawei, the general manager of Zhuhai-Zhongshan-Jiangmen Branch, and the general manager of the Huawei Macao Branch. With extensive experience in the ICT domain, Li Yingjie has played a pivotal role in aiding governmental bodies and enterprises in their digital and intelligent transformation. Deeply engaged in the construction of smart cities throughout the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Macao, the advancements of digital government reform in Macao, and the cultivation of local science and technology talents and the AI popularisation education for local teenagers, he made contributions to the digital governance and high-tech industry development in the Macao SAR.
In response to the Macao SAR’s talent development strategy of “recruiting and retaining the right talents, and putting them in the right place”, he resolutely chose to settle in Macao, serving Macao, and contributing to the upgrading of Macao’s science and technology industry and the appropriate diversification of its economy. At present, he serves as a senior advisor to the Macao International Science and Technology Industrial Centre, dedicated to promoting the development of Macao’s science and technology industry. At the same time, he also serves as the General Manager of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Region, AGIBOT Innovation Technology. Concentrating on the industrial collaboration with Macao as the development focal point, Li Yingjie spearheads initiatives aimed at bolstering the extensive integration of embodied intelligence technology, application scenarios and industrial ecosystem in the city, aiding Macao in building itself into a highland for innovation and development in the Greater Bay Area.
