The 2020 Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair (2020GMBPF), jointly organised by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, is to take place at The Venetian Macao from 11 to 13 December. This year\u2019s GMBPF goes under the theme of \u201cGuangdong-Macao Cuisine Channel\u201d, which aims to attract people from all over the world with delicacies.<\/p>\n
Since its establishment in 2009, the GMBPF has been committed to improving itself and continuously enriching its content, in an attempt to create a business platform for companies from Guangdong and Macao, and become an ideal place for shopping and leisure for local residents and tourists. The exhibition area has increased from 6,000 square metres in the first GMBPF to 9,000 square metres in recent years.<\/p>\n
Reaching the twelfth year, the 2020GMBPF continues to underscore innovation and will join hands with both time-honoured and innovative brands in the catering industry of the Greater Bay Area, leveraging on Macao\u2019s role as a bridge in the \u201cBelt and Road\u201d Initiative and its advantage as the Commercial and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. It will set up the \u201cGuangdong-Macao Cuisine Channel Exhibition Area\u201d where Portuguese, Cantonese, Thai and Indonesian food will be served on-site in a Christmas atmosphere, creating a feast for the eyes and taste buds.<\/p>\n
This year, the Fair will strengthen the combination of online and offline services. Live-streaming studios will be available, while the offline exhibition will again set up the \u201cGuangdong Branded Products Exhibition Zone\u201d, \u201cMacao Featured Products Exhibition Zone\u201d, \u201cThe Belt and Road Pavillion\u201d and \u201cThe Power of Youth-Young Entrepreneurs Exhibition Zone\u201d, and at the same time introduce a \u201cGuangdong State-Owned Business Exhibition Zone\u201d, covering food and beverage, daily necessities, science and technology innovation products, cultural and creative products, and time-honoured brands. The Forum on Technology Innovation Cooperation and Industry Collaborative Development in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will also be held concurrently. In addition, apart from check-in spots, interactive games, shopping lucky draws, singing and dancing performances, there will also be product promotion sessions on the Grand Stage, to provide businesses with a platform to promote their products and enhance their brand image.<\/p>\n
