The award ceremony was organised by Northstar Travel Group and was held in Singapore on 20 August. The award is accepted by the representative of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The \u201cM&amp;C Asia Stella Awards\u201d are accolades specific to the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry, with the winners voted for by the readers of MICE magazine M&amp;C Asia. Regarded as one of the most credible tourism and exhibition awards in the Asia-Pacific Region, the \u201cM&amp;C Asia Stella Awards\u201d cover 25 individual accolades across seven categories, including \u201cBest Asia MICE City \u2013 Asia\u201d; \u201cBest Destination Management Company\u201d; \u201cBest Meetings Hotel \u2013 Singapore\u201d; and \u201cBest Meetings Hotel \u2013 Macao\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The \u201cBest MICE City \u2013 Asia\u201d Award not only recognises the hardware and software facilities and services Macao provides, but also the joint work and co-operation efforts from various sectors of Macao\u2019s society in building Macao the best MICE city in Asia. The Macao Trade and Investment Institute shall continue joining hands with the MICE sector to nurture the development of the industry, by introducing more quality MICE events in Macao and demonstrating the advantages of staging events in Macao to more people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Since 2016, the Macao Trade and Investment Institute is the Macao Government body responsible for the promotion and development of the local MICE industry. Last year, IPIM was presented with the \u201cBest Convention &amp; Exhibition Bureau\u201d award at the TTG Travel Awards Ceremony hosted by TTG Asia.
