Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Business Environment Online Promotion Seminar – Food and Beverage Business Management

To help Macao enterprises explore the market in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and enhance their competitiveness, IPIM and the Guangdong Province Administration for Market Regulation, in co-operation with the Guangdong Restaurant Association, successfully organised the ‘Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Business Environment Online Promotion Seminar – Food and Beverage Business Management’ on 2 July. Over 100 enterprises from the Mainland and Macao participated.

The seminar featured speeches by Deputy Director-general of the Guangdong Province Administration for Market Regulation Zhang Wenxian, and Executive Director of IPIM Vincent U, as well as presentations by a third-level researcher at the Food Safety and Management Supervision Division of the Guangdong Province Administration for Market Regulation Wu Zheng; Vice-president of the Guangdong Restaurant Association and Founder of coffee shop chain DEFINITE Long Tianxiang; and Secretary-general of the Guangdong Restaurant Association Cheng Gang. They explained the permit application procedures for catering businesses and the legal obligations to be fulfilled when operating restaurants in the Greater Bay Area; the process of starting up and developing a coffee shop chain in the Greater Bay Area; and discussed the development and business opportunities of the catering industry in Guangdong province.
