IPIM and MPI Jointly Organise a Sharing Session “Tips of How to Do Business in Portuguese-speaking Countries”

On 13 April, IPIM and Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI) jointly organised a sharing session “Tips of How to Do Business in the Portuguese-speaking Countries” at the Lecture Theatre of Wui Chi Building at MPI. The event aimed to promote Macao as a Commercial and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, deepen the younger generation’s knowledge of the platform, and encourage students in Macao higher education institutions to make use of the platform in the future and engage themselves in relevant undertakings to give full play to their strength.

The sharing session was led by President of IPIM Benson Lau Wai Meng, Board Chairman of Hua Chuang Sino-Luso Industry Development Co. Ltd., Director of Aucoin Meat and Food Ltd. and Anhui member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Jorge Valente, and Director and International Business Manager of Perfection Company Limited (Macao) Tony Hoi who shared with MPI students the advantages Macao has as a platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, experience they gained from engaging in business with Portuguese-speaking Countries, and insights into future business environment. Nearly 100 students and teaching staff participated in the event.
