On the 11th of September, the governor of the state of Ceará signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CITIC Construction in China, which is considered one of the 100 largest construction companies in the world. The document will allow Chinese participation in a feasibility study for the construction of social housing units and full-time schools throughout Ceará.
The delegation led by the governor also visited SPIC, a Chinese conglomerate in the energy sector with more than 40 years of history. The company already has investments in the state in one of the most strategic and potential areas of the state, which is solar energy generation.
The governor stressed that the main aim of the visit was to strengthen ties with SPIC in order to seek even more alternatives.
