[2019-10-31] Angola promotes its products and services at the Shanghai Fair

Angola will take part in the 2nd China International Import Fair, which will take place from 5 to 10 November in Shanghai, with a delegation headed by the Minister of Trade, Joffre Van-Dúnem Júnior, which includes more than 60 businesspeople, the coordinator of the Angola-China Chamber of Commerce said in Luanda.

Adulai Baldé also said that in addition to attending the fair, the Angolan delegation, made up of about 120 people, including members of the government, business people and culture professionals, will also attend the cultural exchange week and the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, taking place from 10 to 14 November in Jinhua, Zheijiang Province.

The coordinator of the Chamber of Commerce said that companies travelling to Shanghai will exhibit products such as bananas, coffee, honey, palm oil, fish, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, wood, services, cultural and tourism goods.

“We will show the new Angolan potentialities to be included in the export group in a short time, with the evolution of the Programme to Support Production, Export Diversification and Import Substitution (Prodesi) and, thus, reaching new partnerships,” he said.

The Chamber, he said, with this participation in the forum intends to continue looking for partners who want to share knowledge, technological advances and financial resources with Angolans, so that the country can make use of its immense resources it has and turn them into real wealth.
