[2019-01-11] Boluda Lines offers weekly Spain/Portugal/Cabo Verde

Boluda Lines, the shipping company of the Boluda Corporación Marítima group from Canarias, on 1 February will increase the frequency of shipping connections between Portugal, Spain and Cabo Verde (Cape Verde), the group said in a statement.

In the case of Cabo Verde, Boluda Lines will offer a weekly service with stops in Sal, Boa Vista and Mindelo, becoming, according to the statement, the first shipping company to provide this regular transport service on a weekly basis.

The Spanish group justified the boost to the links with the “good results” achieved since it opened the new commercial line with the Cape Verdean archipelago in 2017, from the Canary Islands, as well as the “strong focus” on responding to the needs of the hotels and tourism sector, which is “essential for the development” of the archipelago.

“Since 2017, Cabo Verde, through Boluda Lines, has received a diversified offer of fruit, vegetables and other fresh products for the main hotel chains, which offers a unique logistics solution in the market, reducing time and regularity of shipments, backed by its state-of-the-art refrigerated containers,” the report said.
