About
The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) was established in 1928 and based in Dallas, USA. Being a leading association for the global exhibition industry, today the Association represents over 12,000 individual practitioners from more than 50 countries and regions who conduct and support exhibitions around the world.
Objective
To promote the unique value of exhibitions and events and is the principal resource for those who plan, produce and service the industry.
Relation between IPIM and IAEE
The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) officially joined the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) in 2006. Since then, IPIM has been maintaining a close tie with the Association and has been invited to be a keynote speaker of the forums organised by the Association and other organisations of the industry. In addition, in order to further promote the training of convention and exhibition talents, IPIM supports relevant institution to cooperate with IAEE to host the Certified in Exhibition Management Learning Programme (CEM CHINA) in Macau since 2018.
