Questionnaire for Macao Enterprises

Objectives:
In order to provide more focused support and services for local enterprises, implement the trade and investment policy of the Macao SAR Government and assist enterprises to seek business opportunities, IPIM is now releasing a business and promotion questionnaire to gather information and comments from Macao’s enterprises, in order to build up a enterprise database.  The Questionnaire aims to establish a better communication channel with local enterprises and acquire a better understanding of their needs in trade development; IPIM will regularly release market updates and information on trade and economic activities to enterprises by means of the communication data gathered from the questionnaire.

Incentive Measures*

Enterprises submitting the completed questionnaire may have the chance to receive the following awards:

- free subscription of IPIM’s publication Macao TradeInvest Information (electronic edition)
- free subscription of IPIM’s publication Macao Image

free registration in the Macao Business Directory
- free registration as a user of IPIM’s Macao Business Support Centre and the facilities provided by MBSC
- chance to take part in activities organized by MBSC
- chance to to join part of the overseas trade and economic activities organized by IPIM

IPIM – Strengthens liaison to bring mutual benefits

In accordance with the global market and local economic development, IPIM has launched various projects in foreign trade and economic co-operation, the establishment of a business and trade service platform, the promotion of Macao’s moderate economic co-operation and assistance for SMEs development. Over the years, IPIM has provided comprehensive trade and economic services through the provision of the investor one-stop service, trade and economic promotion, off-shore, investment residency application, trade and economic enquiry services.

IPIM’s SME Service Centre (SMEC) provides a multi-faceted consultation service for enterprises, particularly information on the Mainland market.  A Mainland China Business Advisory Service is provided at the Centre with representatives from the Ministry of Commerce to provide advice. SMEC also provides various measures to assist enterprises in promoting their products and services, including the Macao Trade and Invest Kiosk SMEs Business Promotion Scheme, financial incentives for participating in exhibitions and the E-Commerce Promotion Incentive Programme.  To enhance the capacity of enterprises to explore markets and their competitive edge, SMEC regularly organises various seminars/workshops, catalogue shows and business matching activities.  The Centre has recently added a franchising (chain operation) consultation service for enterprises interested in promoting and introducing brands to Macao.  IPIM will continue to strengthen communication and liaisons with local enterprises and enhance business strengths for local enterprises.  For further details on IPIM’s services, please visit our website www.ipim.gov.mo.
