Statistics of Investment Residency Applications in 2006

Under the requirement of the Administrative Regulation No. 3/2005 on “Investors, Managerial Personnel, Technical and Professional Qualification Holders Residency Scheme”, a total of 3,096 new applications for investment residency were received in 2006. Among which were 2,337 cases for fixed assets purchase, 747 cases for managerial personnel, technical and professional qualification holders and 12 cases for major investment and major investment plan. In 2006, 2,636 applications for investment residency were approved, including 2,119 cases for fixed assets purchase, 499 cases for managerial personnel, technical and professional qualification holders and 18 cases for major investment and major investment plan.
