2017 China International Fair for Investment and Trade

Location: Xiamen, China
The 2017 China International Fair for Investment and Trade provides business opportunities for strengthened co-operation between investment sectors worldwide and the BRICS countries and those along the Belt and Road routes. It is a comprehensive event comprising of exhibition, forum, business matching and negotiation.
This year’s event covers an area of 120,000 square metres with an estimation of around 5,000 exhibition booths. The exhibition is divided into two major sections comprising of themed investment pavilions as well as industries and business promotion pavilions.

2017 Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo

Location: Dongguan, China
In light of the economic and trade features and industry practice of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, 2017 Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo set up one theme exhibition and six professional exhibitions.
Holding on to the theme of becoming more international, professional and market led, this year’s Expo will play the role of an economic, trade and co-operation platform, giving full play to its pre-eminence as an international trade centre and help Guangdong implement the "Belt and Road" Initiative in a practical manner.

Online Business Matching Service Platform
The new self-service online business matching service platform from IPIM is now available for local and overseas entrepreneurs to look for business matching and expand their business market.
Through this platform, registered users will be able to participate in the Business Matching Session of the exhibitions and events related to IPIM. Furthermore they will be able to publicize or look for projects, screen possible matching projects, and pre arrange meetings with interested parties and generate a preliminary meetings schedule.

Success Story
Chi Fung Food Factory
Chi Fung Food Factory was established by Chi Fung Food Co. Ltd. The factory is located at 149, Ave. de Venceslau de Morais, Edif. Ind. Keck Seng 9 Andar G with a total area of around 4,000 square feet. Chi Fung Food Factory mainly processes and sells abalone. It also has set up a product research and development workplace. Chi Fung Food Factory imports abalone from South Africa. After a number of processes, the vacuum packed ready-to-eat abalone gift box is ready t go on sale. In the future, the company hopes to build the Macao abalone brand.
With the assistance of IPIM’s “One Stop Service” and the co-ordination of “Investment Committee”, the investor successfully obtained an industrial licence issued by Macao Economic Services as well as completing other government procedures, the factory commenced operation in February 2017.
